Birmingham Oncology Programme

The Birmingham Oncology Programme (BOP) is designed for those working within the pharmaceutical industry. The programme aims to provide up-to-date medical knowledge in an intensive, yet comprehensive programme, combining formal teaching and experience in a clinical environment.

The Birmingham Oncology Programme gives delegates direct clinical experience; clinical sessions include visits to operating theatres, radiotherapy, MRI imaging, chemotherapy and haematology outpatients and pathology labs. The formal taught elements of the programme are intended to build and expand upon the knowledge base of the students when taken in conjunction with departmental visits.
