Module Overview

The module aims to give you a comprehensive understanding of methodologies and techniques used in occupational hygiene in the measurement and assessment of workplace hazards. The module covers: approaches to workplace risk assessment for physical, chemical and biological hazards and decision making on the extent of risk. The module also covers strategies for collecting occupational exposure data and methods for selecting control measures (to protect health) and assessment of their effectiveness.
