The Anglo-Danish Society exists to promote closer understanding between the United Kingdom and Denmark. The Society administers scholarship funds which help Danish students to visit the UK or British students to visit Denmark for the purpose of advanced or postgraduate studies.
Value of Award
Scholarships are intended to be only a supplement to students’ other funding and will run for a period of up to six months from the beginning of the academic year indicated or such other date as may be approved. The minimum value is £1,500 per grant.
Applications are invited from students undertaking postgraduate courses / research
(for scholarships tenable at universities or other higher education institutions in the United Kingdom. The candidate’s first degree should be from a Danish university/higher education institution);
(for scholarships tenable at universities or other higher education institutions in Denmark. Candidates should hold a first degree from a university/higher education institution in the UK)
Applicants should either have embarked on postgraduate courses / research leading to a higher degree, or be assured of being able to do so in the academic year indicated on application.

Application forms may be requested by e-mail. Completed applications may be submitted from 1 January 2017 onwards. Closing date for the return of completed applications is 1 March 2017.
