University of Birmingham Three Minute Thesis Final 2014

The average PhD thesis would take nine hours to present. Our finalists have three minutes...!

Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) is a research communication competition developed by the University of Queensland, in which doctoral researchers have just three minutes to deliver an engaging presentation on their thesis topic, its originality and its significance.

Following last year’s success, we are delighted to be running a University of Birmingham 3MT in 2014. Join us for a drinks reception at 4.00pm and then for the final at 4.30pm in Arts Main Lecture Theatre on Wednesday 11 June 2014, to see our finalists battle it out for a £1,000 travel bursary prize and a place in the UK-wide 3MT semi-finals!

All current students, staff and guests are welcome to attend and can register by clicking here

Birmingham 3MT. Ready? Steady? Thesis.
