Accommodation will be in Victoria Hall Phase III, an independent student hall of residence.
It is situated on the south side of the main campus, across the Bristol Road. It is less than 10 minutes walk from the Arts Building in the University where the teaching will take place.

All rooms have their own en-suite shower-room (with shower, basin and toilet) and each group of five or six rooms has a large and fully-equipped shared kitchen. All rooms have broadband internet access. Bed linen is provided but you need to bring your own towels. Coat hangers are not provided, but you may find some have been left behind by previous occupants. The Summer School will be able to provide coat hangers if needed. There is internet access in each room but there is a charge for this which has to be paid online.
There are a number of cafés, bars and restaurants on campus very close to the Arts Building where teaching will take place. There is also a fruit and vegetable market on the campus, as well several shops, and banks with ATM machines. A railway station, named simply "University", is situated just outside the northwest corner of the main campus and has frequent trains to Birmingham city centre. Access to the University Library can be arranged for those who need it. There are several supermarkets and other shops, cafes and restaurants close to the accommodation.
