The Institute for Conflict, Cooperation and Security is pleased to announce our flagship Master’s programme in Global Cooperation and Security running in 2014/15. This programme provides a unique interdisciplinary training in the theory and practice of global cooperation, allowing students to develop the knowledge and skills necessary for promoting new practices of cooperation and conflict transformation. A key feature of the new Master’s programme is the opportunity to engage with current and former practitioners with extensive experience of the challenge of building international cooperation.

This is a unique five day training programme that is included in the MSc programme as a core module. It offers students the chance to gain a practical insight into the field of conflict transformation. We deliver specialist lectures by internationally renowned academics and conflict practitioners with a wealth of experience in dealing with negotiations and mediation in deeply adversarial settings. We also provide students with core mediation and communication skills through two days of intensive training in conjunction with Responding to Conflict, a professional organisation in conflict resolution.
