It considers historical context, attitudes towards WMD possession and use, and recurrent structural aspects of Great Power interest, affecting the choices and legitimate knowledge available to international organisations.

- Trust, Diplomacy and Conflict Transformation is a unique offered by the Institute for Conflict, Cooperation and Security (ICCS) at the University of Birmingham.
