Paul Long has written on media and cultural history including: Only in the Common People’: TheAesthetics of Class in Post-War Britain. He is working with Screen West Midlands on projectsfunded by the Digital Film Archive Fund to preserve and promote screen and filmarchives. In particular, he has an ongoing interest in the life and work of theBBC documentarist Philip Donnellan.
