Wills and religious change in the archdeaconry of stafford, 1526-1580.
Whilst studying for the MA in West Midlands History I developed an interest in religious belief within the region, researching Nonconformity during the industrial revolution for my dissertation.
Undertaking more research for an MPhil, which is being supervised by Professor Robert Swanson, I have changed focus and moved to the sixteenth century. The research, currently in its early stages, involves the examination of wills for evidence of change in religious belief. However, other aspects of social and economic history are becoming of increasing significance.
