Jean Monnet funding
There is a modest amount of money available to fund new initiatives which promote multi-disciplinary European research and teaching initiatives, and European activities more generally which reach out to the wider student body or the regional community.
The Centre currently supports activities such as:

High profile guests with an interdisciplinary appeal

Inter-disciplinary research conferences at Birmingham

Seminars for the local and regional community

An evening seminar programme and debates for students research seminars for young researchers

Conferences for local schools

As well as the provision of information on European activities, resources and experts within the university and regional level.
If you have a proposal, please send a short description of the activity, explaining how it matches the objectives of the Centre, together with an estimate of the proposed expenditure, to:

Full funding may be available for small initiatives and part-funding (up to £500) for larger events. Proposals will be accepted at any time.
