Higher Education is at the heart of the success of Brazil as a global superpower. Professor Sidki will discuss the opportunities and challenges of a rapidly developing economy and seven million higher education students in Brazil’s public and private universities. Professor Sidki is one of the most prominent Brazilian algebraists, founder of the biannual Escola de Algebra and a Member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences.

There will be opportunities for questions and a networking reception.
