Professor Trybus at Procurement Lawyers Association events

Director of the IEL Professor Martin Trybus presented at the recent UK Procurement Lawyers Association (PLA) events in Bristol (21 March 2013) hosted by Bevan Brittan, and Birmingham (28 March 2013) hosted by Mills & Reeve.

The presentation was on on social and environmental issues in public procurement in the Draft Proposal for new EU procurement Directives. The programme was completed by papers of Susie Smith (Bevan Brittan) on the Public Services (Social Value) Act 2012 and of Paul Conroy (Addleshaw Goddard) on public service mutuals.

Professor Trybus' LLM class in public procurement law attended the Birmingham event.  Professor Trybus had previously contributed to another events of the PLA on the EU Defence and Security Procurement Directive in London in June 2011. He is also on the Academic Advisory board of the PLA's German equivalent, 'Forum Vergabe'.
