The interests of the Functional Materials Group are to explore new functional ceramic materials and processing routes in order to develop new devices and applications and more cost-effective manufacturing methods.
The work of the group involves a wide range of functional materials including piezoelectrics, dielectrics, ferroelectrics and high temperature superconductors in bulk and film forms.
