The International Greek New Testament project has now added transcriptions of the minor Coptic versions of the Gospel according to John to its online transcripts site.

The transcriptions of the Achmimic, Middle Egyptian, Middle Egyptian Fayumic and Fayumic were prepared for the IGNTP by Dr Christian Askeland and three collaborators.

They can be seen along with the other transcriptions available as work in progress at the IGNTP transcripts site:

The transcriptions are licensed as Creative Commons by-nc-sa to encourage their re-use: we would be very interested to hear (by email) from projects or developers who go on to work with this data. A description of the XML encoding guidelines followed (conforming to TEI P5) is available here.
