ITSEE at BiblIndex International workshop on computer aided processing of intertextuality in ancient languages

ITSEE projects will be represented at the BiblIndex International workshop on computer aided processing of intertextuality in ancient languages taking place in Lyon from 2nd - 4th June 2014.

This workshop is the concluding meeting of theBiblIndex project, which has been working on biblical references found in the texts of the Late Antiquity and the Middle Ages. The meeting aims to gather together computer scientists and digital humanists who specialize in corpora written in ancient languages to investigate the state of the art in concepts and techniques used to process quotations in ancient languages. Rosalind MacLachlan and Catherine Smith will be there from ITSEE to present on the Vetus Latina Iohannes and COMPAUL Projects with a particular emphasis on their research on patristic citations and how this is supported technologically.
