We are pleased to announce the 1st Midlands Molecular Microbiology Meeting.
The meeting will be held 15 and 16 September 2014, at the University of Birmingham. This conference will present cutting-edge research on the molecular and cellular aspects of bacterial and fungal microbes.
The Conference will focus on a wide range of topics from metagenomics to host-pathogen interactions. The goal of this conference is to act as a conduit for fostering collaboration among leading scientists who study the molecular biology of prokaryotes and fungi and to promote the exchange of ideas between the next generation of microbiologists.
In addition to a cadre of internationally-renowned keynote speakers, representing a variety of microbial disciplines, talks will be selected from submitted abstracts with the emphasis being placed upon the participation of postdocs and students. To attract young researchers there will be an evening poster session with prizes sponsored by Nature and Nature Review Microbiology and other exhibitors.
The Meeting will take place in The Great Hall in the Aston Webb Building at the University of Birmingham. For further information, including maps and directions, please see the General Information.
