Summer School 2011
4th Platelet Summer Schoolin association with the British Society for Haemostasis and Thrombosis:Hillscourt Conference Centre, Birmingham
18th - 20th July 2011
The 4th Platelet Summer School will take place at Hillscourt Conference Centre, Birmingham (www.hillscourt.co.uk). It will consist of 16 lectures and specialist discussion groups with leading figures in platelets and thrombosis in the UK and Europe.
The summer school is open to graduate students and postdoctoral fellows who are actively carrying out research in the field, or who about to commence research. It is anticipated that participants will between one to five years of research experience in platelets or megakaryocytes.
Interested participants should complete the attached registration form (click here to download form) and apply by e-mail to me, Milan Fernando (m.fernando@bham.ac.uk), enclosing a CV, a brief summary of their current research and a supporting letter of reference from their supervisor.

The anticipated costs of the meeting are no more than £ 170.00 per participant (£400 for Industry), to include accommodation, full board and a handout of all lectures.
