Following the success of previous academic training events, the most recent one being “Developing your career in academic medicine” held in conjunction with the AMS, the College is organising another event for Tuesday 25 September.
The key note lecture will be delivered by Professor Sir Robert Lechler Vice-Principal and Executive Director of King’s Health Partners Academic Health Science Centre.
The event is being held in conjunction with the Birmingham Academic Medicine Society, the recently established undergraduate society. We are then moving to the LD lecture theatre in the medical school to hear the key note lecture followed by refreshments and a poster session.
