Developing your career in academic medicine

Following the success of previous academic training events, the College is organising the fourth annual Clinical Academic Training Meeting for Tuesday 1 October 2013.

The key note lecture will be delivered by Professor Edwin Chilvers, Professor of Respiratory Medicine, School of Clinical Medicine, Cambridge.

The event is starting in the afternoon in the PDC in the medical school with a selection of research talks from academic clinical trainees. We are then moving to the LD lecture theatre in the medical school to hear the key note lecture followed by refreshments and a poster session.

We would like all clinical academic trainees to be involved at every level. We would like you to submit a short abstract of no more than 500 words (see instructions below) some of the best will be chosen for an oral presentation. There will be prizes for the best talks and posters.

Abstract should be no more than 500 words, completed using Times New Roman 12 point and include
