MESH is responsible for a wide range of teaching across the College. It runs two of the five BMedSc PoSH programmes (Health Care Ethics and Law and History of Medicine), as well as having cross programme responsibility for qualitative methods teaching and oversight of the programme research ethics committee. MESH also delivers and coordinates all of the ethics and law teaching across all years of the undergraduate and graduate entry MBChB. Our staff our responsible for running three of the four phase one ‘Medicine in Society’ modules on the MBChB, and also offer a range of special study modules. MESH staff contribute to a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate teaching across the university on a range of different programmes.
