West Midlands Research Collaborative ...

The West Midlands Research Collaborative (WMRC) was set up by Surgical Registrars from the West Midlands region to further the development of surgical research within the region.

The WMRC aims to capitalise on the natural network formed by Surgical trainees rotating between hospitals in the West Midlands region. This has allowed us to set up several multicentre studies within the region.

Other regions have shown a great interest in our group and expressed a desire to form similar networks within their own regions. The developing relationships with such groups will allow us to set up larger national trials and ROSSINI will include several centres outside of the West Midlands Region.

Further information about the WMRC can be found on the WMRC website
