Consultancy and professional practice

All academic members of the Centre for Forensic and Criminological Psychology are Chartered Psychologists with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and are registered as Clinical and/or Forensic Psychologists with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Shelves of recordsWe offer training, advice and consultancy to legal proceedings, police forces, health and social service agencies, government departments, non-governmental organisations, international societies and agencies of the United Nations. This can include clinical practice with clients, the assessment of offenders and victims, designing and evaluating treatment programmes for victims and offenders, the provision of reports for legal proceedings, and operational research.

Members of the Centre do not routinely offer practice supervision for trainee forensic psychologists who are not registered on one of our courses, however we are happy to discuss any such enquiries with you.
