Birmingham Great War Centenary Lecture Series


To commemorate the centenary of the First World War, the University of Birmingham's Centre for War Studies is delighted to announce the first of a series of lectures by distinguished international historians on important themes to do with the conflict.

The first group of lectures, to be held in Spring Term 2014, will focus on 'Roads to War.

Lectures are held from 17.30 to 19.00 (except 28 January) on the Tuesdays listed below, meeting in Lecture Room 3, Arts Building (R16 on the campus map). All welcome. Admission free.
