Kiran’s research focuses on facilitating enterprise and leadership for businesses in the UK. She is also Academic Director for the Centre for Women’s Enterprise and Leadership (CWEL). Kiran has a particular interest in developing innovative approaches to business support and how it can be applied in a variety of  policy and community domains which are traditionally under-represented as small business owners. This work has a direct impact on policy and  the regional economy by providing practical solutions  for budding entrepreneurs and facilitating entrepreneurial opportunities in diverse communities.
