Birmingham Policy Commissions provide a new opportunity for Birmingham academics to engage with policy makers in a focused and action orientated way. By drawing on the knowledge generated from our research and combining it with practical experience the Birmingham Policy Commissions will make a significant impact on public understanding of key policy issues and increase the impact of our engagement with policy and practice in government, the third sector and the business community in the UK and internationally.
