About
Jon Price was appointed Director of the Centre for Low Carbon Futures in November 2009. His early career was in financial services, holding a number of senior management positions predominantly in International Development, and spent time living in The Netherlands whilst working for ABN Amro.
Following a role in Commercial Finance in telecommunications he spent a short period with Carbon Neutral, in the early stage development of strategic carbon management policy for large corporates. In between 2007 and 2011 Jon was on the Board of Climate Strategies, hosted at the Judge Business School, University of Cambridge, leading an academic research network of over 100 academics assisting international governments with the economics of climate change issue, focusing on emissions trading, industrial competitiveness, and carbon leakage.
