Susan Juned is Director and Senior Local Authority Consultant for Greenwatt Sustainable Solutions
Susan specialises in government and local government strategy and policy and has a wealth of local government experience, having worked at both county and district local authority level for 15 years.
Formerly the Government Liaison for the National Industrial Symbiosis Programme (NISP), she is a member of the West Midlands Regional Technical Advisory Body (RTAB), which inputs to the regional waste strategy. Susan was a founder, in 2006, of the BREW (Business Resource efficiency and Waste) Centre for Local Authorities (now a part of the Waste and Resources Action Plan, WRAP) which supported and funded councils wishing to address business waste and resource efficiency.
She was a member of the DEFRA Zero Waste Places Initiative assessment advisory group. Susan is also the co-founder, director and current chair of Warwickshire based Act on Energy.
