We will then put you in direct contact with the organiser of your chosen activity, so that the appropriate arrangments can be made.

Inspire female engineering students Grace Academy

Description
Grace Academy are looking for a visit to school from a female engineer for a session to encourage and motivate their female Engineering students. There are 7 girls in total, 1 A level BTEC Engineering and 6 Level 2 BTEC Engineering. Perhaps there could be a follow up visit to their workplace if possible.

Inspiring Assemblies Fairfax School

Mission to Mars Cockshut Hill Technology College

The school are running a Mission to Mars event for their year 7 and year 8 students. They are looking for a STEM Ambassador to run a session on either date at the school.

Career day St Paul's School for Girls

The school are running a town planning activity for their students. The students need to work out what buildings they should have, where to position them, what facilities are needed and then put all these onto a drawing. They will then make a 3D model of their town. The school are looking for civil engineers who can use their expertise to bring this fun-packed day to life.

World of Work Colmers School

The school are running a World of Work morning to show the variety of different career options before the students choose their GCSE options. They are looking for 1 hour workshops which involves a presentation about your career and an activity to involve the students.

Guess my Job 2015 Handsworth Wood Girls' Academy

The school are running a Guess My Job day in which students will ask you about your job, qualities, skills, qualifications etc and try to guess your job. They would like you to bring a prop, activity or wear your company uniform (if you wear one) to help the students guess your job. The school are particularly looking for female role models.

Maths mentoring

The school are looking for someone to help one of their students. The student is currently in year 5 and is working on level 6 maths with the year 6 students. They are looking for someone to start working with him in September during his final year in the school, ideally once a week. If anyone can help, please email us.
