If you would like to take part in any of the listed activities, please email stemambassadors@contacts.bham.ac.uk stating the activity you would like to volunteer at and your contact details. We will then put you in direct contact with the organiser of your chosen activity, so that the appropriate arrangments can be made.

Career Talk St Alban's Academy

The school are looking for an ambassador to give a 15 minute careers talk/presentation about how you got into your career, qualifications required, etc as well as the company you now work for and your future.

Career speed networking St Edmund Campion

Description
The school are running a careers speed dating session for their female students. Ambassadors will talk about their job with the students and the groups will rotate. The school has requested for ambassadors to bring a description of what their job entails and something like props or photos as well as information about the skills and qualifications needed. If ambassadors wish to being a powerpoint, the school can lend laptops for them to show it on.

Big Bang Fair Volunteers needed

Description
The Big Bang Fair is coming back to Birmingham! If you haven't heard of the Big Bang Fair, it is an exhibition over 4 days of STEM and how to get into STEM careers. Many organisations take part such as Rolls Royce, ICE, Royal Society of Chemistry, local universities, Bloodhound, Vex Robotics – pretty much anyone you can think of to do with STEM.
