Guess My Job Bishop Walsh Catholic School

Description
This school are looking for STEM Ambassadors to speak to school classes for 15 minutes. You would first let the pupils guess what your job is and then explain to pupils what you do and the career pathway to the role. If you were to stay for both sessions, you would be speaking to around 7 groups. The two times provided are for speaking to year 9 classes. However, there are some sixth form classes from 10:00 -­ 11:00 and you can potentially visit these too.

Careers Speed Networking St Alban's Academy

This event involves talking about your career for around 10 minutes with each group of students. The school are particularly looking for female STEM Ambassadors. You can talk about your career path, qualifications, the company you work for, what you do, how you see your future, what is good about working in a STEM career and what it is like working in male dominated profession.

The school are hosting a conference for Primary and Secondary student Digital leaders. They are looking for someone to run a workshop for either Primary or Secondary aged pupils which is computing or digital based.

Career Discussions Bishop Walsh Catholic School

Description
This school are holding a careers day for their year 12 students. The students will be allocated to a STEM Ambassador with the idea of finding more about their particular career path/profession. The STEM Ambassador would then spend 15 minutes with each student to discuss the experience they need and/or giving them a sample of interview questions for the job area. It may also involve some timelooking at their CVs.
