Biosciences PhD student is finalist in prestigious 3-minute thesis competition
Description
School of Biosciences PhD student Chris Morgan is one of the finalists for the 2014 Universitas 21 Three Minute Thesis competition. This year, the event has involved approximately 800 PhD students from Australia, Canada, Chile, China, Ireland, New Zealand, UK and USA. The original entry has been narrowed down to just 17 students, from which an overall winner will be selected by an international panel of experts.

26 A level students sacrificed one precious week of their summer holidays for the sake of science. For 5 days they took part in the IMI Summer School at the Institute of Microbiology and Infection, here in the School of Biosciences, and got some of those mysterious microbiology questions answered!
