By using the innate biology of plasmids to reduce the burden of antibiotic resistance is a novel and exciting approach. My project will involve developing the pCURE technology and trying to bring it from bench to bedside.

Grew up in Switzerland where I did all my schooling at the International School of Geneva. Moved to Birmingham to do a BMedSc at the Universiy of Birmingham in the College of Medical and Dental Sciences following a year at the University of Geneva. Developed an interest in antibiotic resistance biology while doing my undergraduate project with Professor Laura Piddock and Mark Webber.
