In the 2010 Economist ''Which MBA' rankings of the world's leading MBA programmes, we are ranked 68th globally (11th in the UK) - indeed we were ranked by them as number 1 in the UK in the 2005 rankings.  This year we have a high global ranking in a number of categories:

Expansion

We are ranked at 65th in the 2009 Global MBA rankings of Expansion, a leading Spanish-language business magazine published in Mexico.  Only 7 other UK schools make it into this ranking.

ACCA Exemptions

We are pleased to announce that the MSc International Accounting and Finance programme has recently been awarded additional ACCA exemptions. From 2009 onwards, exemptions are available for graduates as follows:

  • F1 –F4 upon completion of the MSc programme
  • F 5 on the basis of Management Accounting
  • F8 on the basis of Auditing Theory and Practice
  • F9 on the basis of Theory of Financial Management and International Business Finance.

The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM)

Our suite of MSc Marketing programmes (MSc Marketing, MSc International Marketing, MSc Marketing Communications and MSc Strategic Marketing and Consulting) have recently been approved and accredited by The Chartered Institute of Marketing and now count towards 50% of the CIM Professional Diploma in Marketing.

As part of The Chartered Institute of Marketing’s Dual Award, it is now possible to gain the CIM Professional Diploma in Marketing through undertaking two modules as opposed to the usual four. This can add value to your MSc, create differentiation and give you a major advantage over counterparts from other universities when searching for employment.
