Posted on Tuesday 12th February 2013

Two Accounting and Finance PhD students have been selected to participate at the Merton H. Miller European Financial Management Doctoral Colloquium.

Ms Dan Zhou and Mr Wasim Ahmad were two of only 16 PhD students selected across Europe, Asia and the US with competition for this event is very strong.  Dan's work is entitled "Corporate Governance of SMBOs: Is it Really Different?" whilst Wasim's research is "Do lockups Constrain Earnings Management by IPO Issuers". Both will be presenting their work at the seminar in June. Congratulations to both Dan and Wasim and their supervisor Professor Ranko Jelic.
