Collaboration with Saasu

Posted on Wednesday 15th May 2013

We are delighted to have been selected as the first University in the UK that Saasu has granted a licence to. Saasu is a commercially available cloud-based accounting software package used worldwide in Small and Medium sized enterprises. This unique position means that our Accounting and Finance students gain the practical experience of working with Cloud-based accounting systems and will ultimately be able to utilise those skills in their future careers.

Steve Keepax (Module Leader) commented ‘Our students run their own ‘virtual’ manufacturing businesses and run all aspects of their ‘Company’ including making purchases, building inventory and making sales. As a consequence, they are now armed with relevant and valuable experience of a cutting-edge accounting package’.
