About

Harvey is a Senior Lecturer in Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations. He joined Birmingham Business School in April 2013, having previously worked at the School of Business, Swansea University and Cardiff Business School, Cardiff University.

Biography

Harvey is interested in the relationship between high performance working and industrial relations. His research has focused predominantly on the civil aviation industry. He participated in the Global Airline Industry Programme, based at MIT, which focused on the impact of low cost airlines on labour. Geraint has also written a series of reports for the International Labour Organisation (ILO), the International Transport Workers’ Federation (2002, 2009 and 2013), the European Transport Workers’ Federation (2013) and the British Air Line Pilots Association (2002 and 2003).
