ESRC Festival of Social Science 2012

The Kitchen Garden Cafe - Acting Local, Thinking Global

The 'Acting Local, Thinking Global' event is being organised by Dr Caroline Moraes from the University of Birmingham Business School and Professor Marylyn Carrigan from the University of Coventry Business School. Their aim is to introduce local residents and organisations to community-based social marketing tools which may be used in exisiting community projects to encourage local change.

The event will include a research case study, webcast and a blog which will be linked to a Facebook page, Linkedin and Twitter. There is also a poll where you can vote on local issues.
