Applications now open for Tullow Group Scholarship Scheme
The University of Birmingham has been selected for the Tullow Group Scholarship Scheme for the 2013 -2014 academic year.
Applications for the scholarship are now open and close on 13th February, 2013. If you are interested in studying any of the following Economics’ programmes with Birmingham Business School, you may be eligible for the scholarship (MSc Environmental and Natural Resource Economics / MSc Economics / MSc Development Economics / MSc International Economics).
The Tullow Group Scholarship Scheme aims to build capacity in areas where Tullow’s host countries experience significant skills gaps, especially, but not exclusively, around their oil and gas industries.
Scholarships are available to those who are committed to making a contribution to their own country’s development.
Therefore eligible candidates will be from one of ten countries including, Ghana, Uganda, Gabon, Cote D’Ivoire, Congo Brazzaville, Kenya, Ethiopia, Mauritania, Surinam and Uruguay.
The Scheme gives candidates a chance to receive a high standard of education from internationally recognised institutions, which can then be applied in the scholar’s home country.
The Scheme is managed by the British Council.
