The 2012 Global FT Rankings have confirmed Birmingham Business School in the top 100 with a place of 86th and as one of the top UK and European MBA’S. The Birmingham MBA has maintained their UK and European position in the FT ranked 11th in the UK and 20th in Europe. With the increasing global competitive nature of Business Schools there are now only 14 UK Schools featured in the FT rankings. As a consequence the Global FT Rankings have seen a significant increase in competition from US and Asian schools which has led to significant movement across the rankings for a number of Business Schools.
Professor Steve Kempster, MBA Programme Director, comments that ‘this reduction in the number of UK Business Schools in part reflects broader economic dynamics impacting on the UK and Europe. In this context we are really pleased that the survey shows that the Birmingham MBA provides excellent value for money – being ranked 6th in the world for this criteria – and in the important matter of career progress we have been ranked 35th in the world’.
Birmingham MBA’s positioning within 2012 Global FT Rankings illustrates our continued commitment of achieving UK Top 10 status by continuing to enhance career progress by delivering a truly international business experience through our applied focus on enterprise engagement.
Professor David Dickinson - The School is happy with our maintained UK and Europe ranking position. We are committed to build on the quality of our MBA year on year and for it to remain a leading global MBA programme
