The Economist’s 2012 Global Rankings have confirmed Birmingham Business School’s position in their top 100 with a placement of 84th globally and as one of the top UK and European MBA offerings. We have achieved enviable ranking positions in comparison to competitor Business Schools within the UK and Europe, having achieved ranking places of 12th in the UK and 19th in Europe.
The sector has experienced a significant increase in competition from US, Asian and European schools; this has led to significant movement across the rankings for a number of global Business Schools. As a consequence of this ever-increasing competitive environment, Birmingham Business School are proud to be one of only 15 UK Schools now featured in the Economist rankings.
Prof Simon Collinson, Dean of Birmingham Business School commented, ‘As the global competition in this market grows, and in a time of low-growth and austerity, we continue to invest in our students and remain one of the leading Schools for MBAs. This is a great result for Birmingham and recognises the huge effort made in recent years by our MBA team.’
