The Economist’s WhichMBA? 2013 Global Rankings have confirmed Birmingham Business School’s position in their top 100 with a placement of 85th globally and as one of the top UK and European MBA programmes. We have achieved an enviable ranking position when compared against competitor Business Schools within the UK and Europe, having achieved ranking places of 12th in the UK and 29th in Europe.
The sector continues to experience a significant increase in competition from US, Asian and European schools which has led to significant movement across the rankings for a number of global Business Schools. As a consequence of this ever-increasing competitive environment, Birmingham Business School are proud to be one of only 14 UK Schools now featured in the Economist rankings.
Professor Simon Collinson, Dean of the School commented:
In a tough MBA market with new competitors rising up in Europe and across the globe it is great to see Birmingham firmly in the world top-100. We know this reflects the investment we have put into the programme in recent years. We also know that our current programme of investment, in faculty, staff and programmes across the School will strengthen our position in the key rankings in the future."
