Birmingham Business School Students Rise to Capgemini's Exclusive Challenge

Posted on Thursday 28th June 2012

This month our undergraduate students embarked on an entirely new and unique experience: the University of Birmingham and Capgemini Community Challenge. Global consultancy firm Capgemini is a top-flight graduate recruiter, based in 40 countries around the world.  Choosing to work exclusively with the University of Birmingham, they created a second-to-none “Apprentice-style” consultancy training experience for our students.

“The week-long Community Challenge Programme was indeed a great success!  Capgemini and the University of Birmingham worked shoulder-to-shoulder in making this happen and the result was truly outstanding. We ran this programme exclusively for the University of Birmingham, offering first and second year undergraduates from the Business School and Computer Science the opportunity to apply, from which we chose the twenty five students who impressed us the most. So successful was it, that there is no question we will run this again next year!”
