Birmingham Business School performed well in the Guardian’s University guide 2014 league tables, with economics and business and management studies both appearing in high positions.
In the 2014 business and management studies league table, which covers business studies, management studies, finance, accounting and marketing, Birmingham is ranked 14th out of 114 universities across the country. This includes high performances in a variety of areas including 88% of students satisfied with their course, which is only 2% behind top ranked university Oxford.
Economics at Birmingham Business School performed exceptionally well, making an appearance in the top 10. Ranked at number nine, economics achieved a course satisfaction rating of 92% and 89% of students were satisfied with teaching.
The University of Birmingham as a whole improved their rankings over last year’s position, being ranked 15th out of 119 universities in the 2014 league table. This was a rise of 15 positions from the 2013 rankings.
