Recipient of Tullow Scholarship discusses her time studying at Birmingham Business School

Irene Onyango was the recipient of the Tullow Scholarship, an international scheme that is managed by the British Council, and awarded to those who are committed to making a contribution to their own country's development.

The University of Birmingham was selected for the Tullow Group Scholarship Scheme for the 2013 -2014 academic year and after a successful application Irene came to Birmingham to study MSc Environmental and Natural Resource Economics.

The Scheme gives candidates a chance to receive a high standard of education from internationally recognised institutions, which can then be applied in the scholar’s home country.


Irene studied the MSc Environmental and Natural Resource Economics programme with help from the Tullow Scholarship scheme.
