My research pertains to the empirical investigation of the relevance and reliability of fair value accounting for a sample of European banks reporting their annual accounts in IFRS. In addition, I also examine the impact of the adoption of IFRS on European banks' cost of equity capital.
My general research interests are related to financial reporting, international accounting, market-based accounting research, accounting and capital markets.
