Profile
Ibrahim is a self-motivated, target-driven and thoroughbred researcher with special interests in how communication technologies enhance the business performance of Small and Medium Enterprises in different communities. His research interests also cover a critique of Technological Determinism in particular, and other rather myopic theoretical perspectives that underpin most research efforts that attempt to explain the relationship between technology and society. Previously, he had a successful career as a training and performance management officer in the Human Capital Group of Africa’s Global Bank – United Bank for Africa PLC. Ibrahim had managed and run a private school (specializing in preparing candidates for post secondary and university admissions) during, and shortly after his university undergraduate years. He is a consummate communicator with an exceptional mastery of English Language – both written and oral.
