Shaker received his BA and MSc degrees in public management from the University of Jordan in 2002 and 2006 respectively. Shaker has more than 8 years’ experience in public and private sector in Jordan, focusing in the fields of Quality Management, Strategic Management, Human Resource Management and Training Following his master’s degree in Public Management; he took up a position as a full time instructor in the Department of public Management in Yarmouk University. Shaker has several publications in refereed journals and conference proceedings. His main research interests include; Service Quality, TQM, HRM, Job Satisfaction and Strategic Management.
Currently, he is a PhD researcher in the Total Quality Management area, under supervision of Dr Paul Forrester from Management Department in Birmingham Business School. He is now studying the TQM and job satisfaction and their impacts on the service quality in the public sector of Jordan.
Shaker is on leave from the Department of Public Management, Faculty of Business School at the University of Yarmouk, Jordan, who are funding his PhD with three years scholarship.
