Profile
Mr Zhi Li has a first degree in engineering and an MSc in Engineering Business Management (University of Warwick). He began his career in an international management training and consultant company in Beijing, China. During his time as a consultant, he gained some valuable work experience at a manufacturing company in California, US.
In 2009, Mr Li decided to join the Birmingham Business School as a full-time PhD researcher. His doctoral research focuses on the process of technology transfer. This research involves two aspects: the first concerns technology transfer from research institutes (e.g. universities) to industry, and the second encompasses technology transfer from companies to other companies as a commercial behaviour.
