Criteria for membership
Individuals may join the EIC in one of several ways:

Write or offer to write a joint paper or make a joint grant application

Offer data for EIC use (including of course joint work)

By paying the corporate membership fee (see below)
Types of membership
Academic

Any academic of any nationality may join the EIC if they satisfy the criteria above

Membership is free for academics in the University of Birmingham
Corporate
-
Any corporate entity or individual involved in business (including of course entrepreneurs and members of government organizations) may apply to join the EIC
