Biography

In addition to the above post Mansoob Murshed is also Professor of the Economies of Conflict and Peace at the Institute of Social Studies (ISS) in the Hague, in the Netherlands. He is also an honorary fellow at the Peace Research Institute in Oslo, Norway (PRIO). His research interests cover globalisation, conflict / post-conflict reconstruction studies and economic development. In 2003 he was the first holder of the Prince Claus rotating Chair in Development and Equity. This chair was set up in memory of the late Prince Claus, lately Prince Consort of the Netherlands.
